The Curators of the Chest are authorized to accept donations towards the Psychiatric Research Fund; the income of the fund may be spent at the discretion of the W.A. Handley Professor of Psychiatry on psychiatric research; and the professor may in any financial year spend on psychiatric research up to half the capital of the fund in hand at the beginning of that financial year.
